It's been a wonderful day, President and Sister Robinson are back in the temple, and got to talk to some grandchildren tonight. Life is great! I have a wonderful husband and children- more blessings than I can count. I pray for those who are fighting health issues, my granddaughter with croup, my sweet Jenna Faith Bishop, my friend Ruth Wright and all those in need a being remembered to Heavenly Father right now.

It's been a wonderful week! 4 glorious days back at the temple! Wonderful patrons and workers. It's such a joy to be of service to the patrons that come each day. Truly when you serve others, your own trials  seem much smaller.  Have talked to daughters this week, got letters from granddaughters! My hubby took me out to dinner tonight! Life is great! We got snow this week but only trace amounts, although I know folks in New Brunswick tell a different story. I know God lives, I know that he answers our prayers. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that we will live again- that this life is basically  a schooling. We come to learn to choose God and to live like Him and His Son.

Friday morning, Feb. 22, 2013-

Thursday was a wonderful day! We got mail from home- with a total of 4 letters from some wonderful granddaughters- thanks Sydney Quick, Claire Quick, Ashlynn and Mallory Simonson. And thanks to my daughters for mailing all the things I had asked for. Love you so very much.

Being back at the temple is so wonderful and its great to be back in my routine.  Some missionaries have completed their missions and will be leaving Atlantic Canada today. We will miss them. May God be with them always, I pray. Of course, when some leave, we also get some new missionaries- and the new batch looks awesome. One thing you learn as a missionary is that humility is not a weakness but a necessary strength for us. We continue to get little snow showers that drop about half an inch of snow, nothing tragic- but I have faith that spring will come soon.

Have a great day one and all.

So very happy that my normal schedule returns when the Halifax Nova Scotia Temple re-opens tomorrow!!! So look forward to workers and patrons- we couldn't do the work that is done there without you. So thankful for our time here in Atlantic Canada- thanks to all for accepting us into your lives and families.

Tonight the Cole Harbor Ward hosted a lovely Valentine's dance. It was wonderful and we had a wonderful turnout. If you missed you missed a great evening. The Bing's and others did a terrific job on the decorations and refreshments. Thanks so very much. I actually got to dance several dances with my wonderful hubby. I will have pictures soon I hope.

Got a real copy of one of the pictures taken that night. Glad I can add it =)

Its the end of a long week, a very long two weeks. I have so missed my usual routine. I look forward to going back to the temple next week. I have gotten some good family research done. Got some deep cleaning done on the apartment, even packed up something to mail home, when we get to the states again. So it's been good. We have had some good times with members and missionaries- so grateful for the wonderful influence that you are in our lives. So thankful for family and friends. Some are going thru great struggles right now, please know that we pray for you always. No snow for several days, I'm sure that will change, because I said something about it!! Grateful for my wonderful valentine, a loving husband- so thankful for all his does to make it possible for us to be here and on this mission. Of course, I thank Heavenly Father for all of the experiences that He has blessed me with, I pray that we are all becoming the people he has sent us here to become.

More winter pictures! the drifting around a tree outside of our apartment. We got about a foot of snow with drifting much higher than that at some places.

L-R: Craig, Bro. Robert Wilhelm, and Elder Dela Cruz- the walkways are done, now they are digging out our cars from the snowfall and the snow moved by the snow plows.

Almost done- there was more snow around the cars than could be seen- guys you did a great job.

Drifting snow outside on our patio.

This one is from our living room window! our car is out there someplace!

This one is taken from another entrance to the apartment complex- our car is the one behind that big tree.

This one is taken from the front entrance to the complex.

Drifting snow from the front entrance to the apartment complex.

In 2003-4 we survived the "Snow Storm of the Century" in Maryland. Now we have experienced a Nor'Easter! All this snow makes me think of Utah and home and family.

Lots of snow enough that Church is cancelled today. Feeling confined after several days in the apartment, no temple, no church. Gosh, we need those things! It's like my life has a hole right now, but I know its just for a moment. Thank goodness for friends and especially for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hope that all is well with you- stay safe, and drive with caution only if you must.
