Letter to President Leavitt,

Last weekend we had a bus load of 50 patrons (youth and adults) the had traveled about 5 hours to come to the temple for the day! It was so wonderful, they all worked diligently to accomplish as much as they could for their ancestors. It was great to see Elder Deem again.

We are busy in the temple and love it and the people here so very much. This Friday is Good Friday, which is a legal holiday here. So we make a big day of it at the temple. Instead of our usual 1-3 sessions, we will be open for 6 sessions! The Presidents, Matrons, and the temple missionaries (us and the Dela Cruz) will be there for all 6 sessions- they start at 8:00 am and will be every 2 hours so the last session will end about 7:30 pm. It will be a long, wonderful day.
We see prayers answered daily for us and others. We see God's direction in all that happens with the church. I'm thankful for and fully support the priesthood power and authority that males hold in the Church. I support the family as directed by our Father in Heaven- a father and mother. As such we both have responsibilities to fulfill. So thankful for a living prophet and apostles and look forward to General Conference.
