We had a great family home evening group tonight! Found out that the Bauers (the temple couple that trained us will be here for a visit in July. Will be great to see them again. Dinner was great. I tried out a Rhubarb Crumb cake for dessert. Found the recipe on line from a Canadian Living Magazine. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Our wonderful lesson was taught by Sis. Betty Patterson. She was baptized a month ago. And she did a terrific job, taking us through scripture on the cycle of life. That God created the world and us, giving us earthly fathers. And we need to follow both fathers(earthly fathers and Heavenly Father) to be able to return to our Heavenly Father. We also need to do our genealogy and family history work so that we help our fathers in the past have the opportunity of returning to Heavenly Father also. I also spent most the day working on my family history. So a great start to the week.
